Our Christ the King Catholic School community is comprised of students, parents, teachers, staff, alumni, pastors, and parishioners.  As an inclusive community of Christ, we strive to create future leaders, life-long learners, and servants of God.  Through an academic and spiritual environment, members of the community work together to provide opportunities and experiences for each child to know, love, serve, lead, and grow. 

At CK, we have various ways to get involved with our community, from events and parent organizations to student-led campaigns and grade-level projects. Our goal is to build a unique community that extends beyond the classroom and enriches the families of Christ the King.

Caring Communities 

At Christ the King, one way we celebrate our community with each other is in our Caring Communities. During this assembly, all grade levels come together once a month to learn about our Catholic faith and how we can foster those lessons in our lives to become a family in Christ.  Students from all grades are assigned to a faculty member, where students from different grades get to know each other throughout the year.

Connecting with Our Community  

Throughout the year, students and families will engage with fellow community members through events, service days, fundraising drives, and student-led projects.  Here are some ways we connect with our community:

• Appreciation projects for Veterans and First Responders
• Trunk or Treat
• Community Fish Fry
• 4th Grade letter campaign to CK neighbors
• Campus Clean Up with Knights of Columbus
• And so much more!

Cultural Diversity Program

This program was introduced during the 2021-2022 school year to promote and celebrate events, teachings, and traditions of the various cultures in our community and the world through the Catholic lens.  The Cultural Diversity Program engages students through different cultural experiences including: music, food, art, science, sports, dance, and more.  

A few cultural events we have celebrated: Irish Step Dancers for St. Patrick's Day; Pow-wow with drummers, singers, and dancers for Native American Heritage Month; and a martial arts demonstration for Asian/Pacific Islanders Heritage Month.
