Mrs. Buyungo grew up in Kampala, Uganda, where her journey in education began. After graduating from Makerere University with a BS in Education, she taught high school English and Literature before moving to Colorado, where she met her husband! Following a successful 20-year career pivot into the technology sector as a Software Tester and Business Analyst, she is thrilled to return to her first love of teaching.

Mrs. Buyungo is honored to dedicate this next chapter of her life to nurturing CK's little ones academically, socially, and spiritually. When she is not at Christ the King, you will find her sharing big laughs with her family, reading, gardening, taking nature walks in the mountains, dancing, and traveling.

Fun Facts

• Mrs. Buyungo has been a proud part of the Christ the King family since 2005. The first of her three children started preschool here (now a Brown University graduate), her middle child will soon graduate from Yale University, and her youngest is still in high school. Even though her own kids have grown up, she loved the school too much to leave!

• Mrs. Buyungo can always be found cheering on basketball games or listening to her favorite tracks in jazz, gospel, and Afrobeats.
