Ila Rosengarten is an East Coast native who graduated from Boston College with a degree in English and received her Master's in school counseling from the University of Denver. Prior to joining the school counseling team at St. Raphael Counseling, Ila spent six years at Mullen High School supporting the college counseling department. The shift in supporting younger students is one that she truly enjoys. Ila and her husband are the parents to three adult children, all of whom benefitted from Catholic school education. 

Fun facts: 

• Born in India and now a naturalized citizen, English is not Mrs. R.'s first language.

• Mrs. R.'s family has produced three generations of BC grads. 

• School counseling is Mrs. R.'s rewarding second career. She worked in advertising for both The Washington Post and Rocky Mountain News.
